Confessions
Thursday from 7:10 – 7:25 pm and on Saturday from 10:15 to 10:45 am and from 4:30 – 4:50 pm.
Mass of Induction
My induction as your Parish Priest is in two days-Tuesday 4th November 2025 at 7pm. I look forward to sharing this special evening with you all and celebrating together as a parish family.
Community Notice (Thursday 6th November)
West Midlands Police have classified the Aston Vila vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv match (8pm, Villa Park) as high risk. A large Policing operation and road closures will be in place, with protests and counter-protests expected in the area. Parishioners are advised to avoid the vicinity of Villa Park if possible, or to follow Police instructions if traveling nearby. These measures aim to keep everyone safe and maintain peaceful community relations. For concerns or information, contact West Midlands Police on 101, or 999 in an emergency.
Commemoration of the Faithful Departed
As we approach All Souls’ Day on November 2, and throughout the Month of the Holy Souls, parishioners are invited to prepare and submit the names of their beloved departed family members and friends to be remembered in our prayer and Masses.
Blessing of Graves
In keeping with the tradition of the Month of the Holy Souls, parishioners are warmly invited to the Blessing of Graves at Handsworth Cemetery on Sunday, 9th November at 2;15 p.m. let us come together in prayer to remember and commend our departed loved ones to God’s eternal mercy.
The Johnson Association
The Johnson Clergy Association (Birmingham) CIO, established as a Charity Incorporated Organisation in 2025, traces its origins back to 1710. Over the years, it has been known by various names — including The Johnson Fund and The Secular Clergy Association — but its mission remains unchanged: to support priests of the Archdiocese of Birmingham in retirement, illness, and old age.
Its aims are:
1. To provide discretionary grants to priests who retire due to age, infirmity, or illness.
2. To offer financial assistance to active clergy incapacitated by serious illness lasting more than a month, helping them with treatment and recovery.
Citizens UK Birmingham
Will hold their surgery here on the second Sunday of every month from 09:00 -10:30 am in the “Fallon Room”. They offer free and confidential advice on housing, benefits, jobs and public services.

Our card payment machine in the porch of the Church is now working. You can now make your offering or donation by tapping your card before or after the Mass. Its quick, secure, and easy to use. Your generosity helps our Parish community to grow and serve. Thank you for your kindness and support.
Notice of Funeral Arrangement
In your charity, pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of Desrine Brown, whose funeral Mass will take place on Monday 17th November 2025 at 10:15 am and burial at Handsworth Cemetery.
