ABOUT THE CENTRE
The Story
The St Francis Centre was built in 1909 by the then parish priest, Monsignor John O'Hanlon.
It was built with the intent of being a 'social centre', which it still is to this day. The Centre is still run and owned by the Church next door.
The Centre now hosts a large hall with stage and dancefloor, a smaller function room with stage and dancefloor, a pool room, office space, a seated upstairs area with a balcony, two kitchens and fully licensed bars!
We host many live music and entertainment events throughout the year as well as charity fundraisers.
The venue is available to hire for all types of events.
